Paula Scher of PENTAGRAM, is without doubt one of the most influential and brilliant designers around. Scher has been a partner of Pentagram since 1991. Her eclectic approach to typography has became highly influential. Her landmark identities include work for The Public Theater, which won the coveted Beacon Award for integrated corporate design strategy, and those for Microsoft, Citibank and Tiffany & Co. have become case studies for the contemporary regeneration of American brands.

Her work covers a wide range from environmental design to animation and her acclaimed map paintings. Clients include Bloomberg, Coca-Cola, the Museum of Modern Art, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Opera, the New York City Ballet... the list goes on and on.

Paula was in conversation with ERICA WOLFE-MURRAY, innovation coach and managing director of LOLA MEDIA who develop, manage and exploit intellectual property for brands. Erica started her career at US-owned agency Foote, Cone & Belding, handling British Airways international advertising and London Transport before joining the Conran Design Group as a copywriter. She has been a board director of the Small Back Room and in 1987 Erica formed Touch Productions with documentary producer, Malcolm Brinkworth, supplying high quality, multi-award-winning factual programming to the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery and National Geographic. In 2009 it was nominated for an Emmy.
